Operation Finally Home Flathead Valley

This is a reprint from Operation Finally Home Flathead Valley. Please review and see what you can do to help such a great cause.

Dear Flathead Valley,

Most of you in this email have committed to this organization to  help build a MORTGAGE FREE home for one of our very own disabled veterans right here in the Flathead Valley. Now that the plans are finalized and passed architectural review, I wanted to distribute them to each of you so that you can see how you can participate if you so choose. It would be of great help to me, as the project organizer, if you could specify exactly how you want to participate so that I don’t “double up” on certain items of the project. If you have questions on how you can participate, please contact me at any time. We are designing this house based on a “semi rustic” or “mountain” style home.

We are pleased to announce that we have closed on the lot in Mount Vista Estates. The Operation Finally Home committee is very adamant about constructing this home using 100% American made products. If you know of anyone that may be interested in participating in the project please have them get in touch with me so I can make sure to include them in all the upcoming events. We have had great success thus far in gathering volunteers and suppliers of materials to construct this home, but there is much more needed. I will be keeping everyone on my list informed of the current status/schedule of this project along with information about upcoming fund raising events.

We had great response at the NW Montana Sportsman’s Expo and the FBA Home and Garden Showcase. We sold  over 80 raffle tickets for the hog drawing! Aside from raising money, we increased public awareness, which is where we need everyone that knows about Operation Finally Home to “spread the word”.

We are selling t-shirts with the logo on the back and “War is HELL, coming home shouldn’t be” on the front for $10 each. (shirts donated by Bulldog Custom Screen Printing) The proceeds from these t-shirts will help pay for the building permits and impact fees.

ColdStone Creamery is donating 15% of their proceeds to OFH from all sales on Wednesday May 30th from 5pm to 10pm. Come join us for some ice cream and fun.

Thanks again for your devotion to participate in this project that gives back to our wounded soldiers whom fought for our freedom and sacrificed their livelihood for our safety. We can never thank them enough.

We will be in touch soon.
